According to Jamaican Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation Daryl Vaz, the five-star hotel will have 250 rooms.

The project will reportedly create 500 permanent jobs in the area, Vaz said in a Jamaican government release.

Jamaica has big plans for Port Antonio, which has been growing in popularity in recent years as one of the island’s more exotic locations.
