Royalton’s Big Caribbean Expansion

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 20, 2016

Royalton Luxury Resorts is making a big expansion in the Caribbean region, with a number of new hotels set to come on stream in the next few months.

The Royalton Blue Waters resort in Montego Bay will be ready Oct. 15, the company said, while resorts in St. Lucia and Negril are slated to debut on Jan. 15, 2017.

“It’s impressive to see how well our teams came together to orchestrate the construction of five very large multi-million dollar developments,” said Jordi Pelfort, Managing Director. “We believe it is this passion and enthusiasm for success that is carried through to create incredible on-resort experiences for our guests.”

Royalton has seen a major increase in its presence in Jamaica, with 801 new rooms; that includes 228 at Royalton Blue Waters, 407 at Royalton Negril and 166 in Hideaway at Royalton Negril.

Royalton is also planning 456 new rooms in St. Lucia, with 352 at Royalton Saint Lucia and 104 at Hideaway Royalton Saint Lucia.

Royalton, which was first established in 2011, has all-inclusive properties in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba.
