Grenada will play host to the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s annual State of the Industry Conference in 2017.

The news was revealed by Grenada Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation for Clarice Modeste-Curwen at this year’s State of the Industry Conference at the Hilton in Barbados this week.

The hosting opportunity comes as Grenada has seen strong growth in recent years, led by the arrival of JetBlue flights and the launch of the Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort.

It’s not yet clear where the conference will be held, although Grenada’s National Trade Centre could be a possibility.
