JetBlue Traffic Continues to Improve

JetBlue Airways is seeing continued strong growth in traffic, according to the New York City-based carrier’s latest monthly report.

JetBlue saw 4.26 billion revenue passenger miles in July, a 6.6 percent increase over the same month in 2015.

That came on a capacity increase of 5.5 percent with 4.85 billion available seat miles.

The carrier also reported a 0.8 percentage point increase in load factor to 87.8 last month.

JetBlue reported 30,065 departures, a 3.2 percent increase over 29,120 in July 2015 as well.

For the year to date, JetBlue traffic is up to 26.79 billion revenue passenger miles, a rise of 11.2 percent.
