Why This NFL Legend is Partnering With a Caribbean Hotel

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 7, 2016

NFL veteran Randy Moss is partnering with BodyHoliday resort to lead the health and wellness destination’s “WellFit Families” program.

From Sunday, July 31 to Friday, August 5, the record-breaking wide receiver will be on property at the St. Lucia resort to host workshops, private training sessions, beach fitness classes and more.

Moss will be joined by Olympians Jamie Baulch, Steve Williams, Leon Taylor and Danny Crates, who will all take part in leading the program from July 3 to August 28.

These athletes will lend their expertise each week over the duration of the program, which consists of eight week-long retreats.

This summer, the WellFit Families activities are inspired by the Olympic Games in Brazil, and will include: bike ride adventures, basic sailing skill classes, abseiling excursions down waterfalls, healthy cooking classes, parent vs. child competitions, mother-daughter spa experiences, YOGA flow, cardiovascular fitness, first-aid and CPR training and more.

It’s not the first foray into the Caribbean for Moss, who has also been involved with youth football camps in destinations like the Turks and Caicos islands.
