Flying to Bonaire Just Got Cheaper

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 19, 2016

Getting to the Dutch Caribbean island just got easier — and now it’s getting cheaper, too.

United Airlines has expanded its service to Bonaire, and now the carrier is offering special summer fares to the island.

The company is discounting bookings for flights from Newark to Bonaire through June 7, for travel from June 12 to Aug. 14.

United flies to Bonaire on Saturdays and Sundays out of Newark. Both flights are covered under the discount, with Sunday flights as low as $421 round trip including taxes and fees.

“We are gratified for our long-time partnership with United Airlines, and their support with extending the booking window on the Newark Summer Sale through June,” said Maurice Adriaens, Director of Tourism Corporation Bonaire. “The special local fare added to the Summer Sale will also provide us with the opportunity to grow the New Jersey/New York market. We are excited to keep developing our partnership with United Airlines.”
