What if we told you that on your next trip to Cancun we could guarantee that you’d see Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt and Leonardi Da Vinci?

No, we’re not delusional.

We’re just clued in to the city by the sea’s newest attraction, the Cancun Wax Museum, which opened in the Hotel Zone last month at La Isla shopping village.

The city’s first wax museum has a “population” of more than 100 life-size figures, including super heroes, celebrities, storybook characters, athletes, historical figures and heads of state.

It takes about two-and-a-half hours to tour the 23-room facility, where visitors can snap selfies with Harry Potter, Barack Obama, the Dalai Lama and Mexico’s own Frida Kahlo, as well as Abraham Lincoln and Gandhi.

The $3 million-museum is a project of Brazilian company Dreams Entertainment, and opens from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
