Antigua and Barbuda’s hotel development pipeline continues to grow.
The latest announced project is a 10-acre, 150-room hotel on Valley Church beach in Antigua.
The project is a joint public-private one between the government of Antigua and Barbuda, the government of Venezuela and the Spadaro family of St Maarten’s Sonesta resorts.
Antigua’s government will be investing $15 million in the project, which is slated to start this year, according to Tourism Minister Asot Michael.
The project is projected to create 300 permanent jobs.
