Regional air carrier InterCaribbean Airways is launching flights between Providenciales, Turks and Caicos and Havana, the company announced this week.

The new nonstop flights will launch May 1.

Outbound flights from Turks and Caicos will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the Havana-Provo flight operating on Wednesdays.

The company also suggested combination trips that included both Cuba and Turks and Caicos.

“With People to People visits from the United States, and new categories of travel for USA citizens, interCaribbean is well placed to facilitate entry to Santiago, and now to Havana, as we serve two of the most important cities of the country,” said Lyndon R. Gardiner, Chairman of interCaribbean Airways.
