By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 20, 2015

A luxurious Caribbean estate is headed to auction.

The Jamaican estate called “L’Dor V’Dor,” set about 12 miles from Montego Bay, will sell to the highest bidder in an auction Feb. 16 by Concierge Auctions.

The property is the largest of all the villas in the Tryall Club property.

It’s selling without reserve in cooperation with Nora Johnson of Michael Saunders & Company. It had previously been offered for $5 million.

“L’Dor V’Dor is an ultimate Caribbean sanctuary located within an elite vacation resort that is just as luxurious as it sounds,” Johnson said. “Sophisticated buyers will love its grandeur, particularly the expansive indoor/outdoor living space, perfect for entertaining and enjoying the priceless panoramic views. We look forward to working with Concierge Auctions on exposing this unique estate to select buyers from around the globe.”

The property’s new owner will inherit a staff of 10, including a chef, cook, butler, housekeeper, laundress, gardeners and a house manager.

Amenities include everything from an infinity pool to a covered, warp-around balcony that accommodate up to 50 guests.

“The largest villa in all of Tryall Club, L’Dor V’Dor offers magnificent ocean views in a relaxing, Jamaican paradise,” said Sarena Irwin, vice president of client services at Concierge Auctions. “The new owner of this private estate can look forward to a catered lifestyle like no other, including year-round staff and endless recreational activities.”
