By: Guy Britton - December 3, 2015

AMResorts has officially opened its first-ever Secrets-branded resort in Costa Rica.

The adults-only Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica joined the company portfolio at the end of last month.

“We are excited to be celebrating the second Secrets Resorts & Spas opening in the span of one month,” said Gonzalo del Peón, President of AMResorts. “Offering more Unlimited-Luxury choices in desirable destinations like Costa Rica will continue to be a top priority.”

“Travelers are seeking premium all-inclusive experiences more often than ever before. That has spurred AMResorts’ growth into new destinations,” added Alex Zozaya, CEO of parent company Apple Leisure Group. “We are adding to our footprint in Central America as reaffirmed by our two resorts in Costa Rica and the upcoming opening of Secrets Playa Bonita Panama Resort & Spa, our first property in the region.”
