Why Sammy Sosa and Other Baseball Greats are Coming to Casa de Campo

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will host the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame in its seventh Induction Week, honoring the Class of 2016.

Events will take place around the resort and in La Romana from Dec. 2-5, 2015.

The long weekend will celebrate legends of Latino baseball with The Immortals Parade, the Immortals Golf Tournament, and the 7th Induction Ceremony at the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater.

The ceremony will be dedicated to Colombia for its contributions to the sport, and will be broadcast to the United States via ESPN Deportes.

This years inductees include Sammy Sosa (Dominican Republic), Orlando “El Duque” Hernández (Cuba), Jesse Orosco (Mexico), Edgar Rentería (Colombia), Iván Rodríguez (Puerto Rico) and Omar Vizquel (Venezuela).
