JetBlue showed very strong traffic growth last month, according to the company’a latest data.
Traffic in October increased by 11.1 percent year over year compared to October 2014, with a total of 3.35 billion revenue passenger miles, according to preliminary data.
Load factor in October stood at 84 percent, an increase of 0.5 percent over the same period last year.
The carrier’s preliminary completion factor was 99.4 percent, while on-time performance was 80.9 percent, the company said.
The carrier’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile fell by 2 percent, however.
The company has been on a major expansion push in the wider Caribbean, most recently adding Antigua to its network.
