Barbados is relaunching its Rediscover Barbados dining special this year. And it’s getting bigger.

Rediscover Barbados has expanded from nine restaurants to over 23 offering food and beverage deals, according to Barbados Tourism.

This year, in response to popular demand, a lunch version has been added, featuring 10 percent discounts at dozens of restaurants across Barbados.

With each booking, patrons will earn a chance to win return flights for two from any market, seven nights at The Crane Resort & Residences, a Courtesy Rent-a-Car for a week, an Atlantis Submarine dive adventure, and BDS $500 Trimart Supermarket coupon.

“Barbados has firmly established itself as the culinary capital of the Caribbean with the region’s highest number of quality restaurants per capita,” said William Griffith , CEO of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. “This promotion continues to be a highly requested offer for local and visiting families, friends, couples and business persons seeking great value for money.”

Griffith said that the island offers several highly reputable culinary offerings “off the beaten path,” which provide a change of pace to travelers and the opportunity to authentically experience the local culture.
