Since 2010, the Clinton Foundation has aided in raising over $30 million for Haiti, in the form of relief funding and projects supporting Haiti’s business, education, agriculture, and energy sectors, the organization said.

The foundation is continuing this work with a variety of ongoing projects, including the pilot of the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership’s Chakipi distribution enterprise, which has reportedly enabled 110 female Haitian entrepreneurs to find work and provide for the community through door-to-door sales businesses.

During her time in Haiti, Chelsea Clinton helmed the Clinton Foundation’s Instagram, sharing an up-close perspective on their work in Haiti and the message “#ActionIsGreater through partnership and collaboration.”

Members of the foundation’s Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) have made more than 100 Commitments to Action for Haiti, which will be valued at over $500 million when fully funded and implemented, the organization said.

Currently in its seventh year, CGI’s Haiti Action Network continues to concentrate on the creation of sustainable jobs and investment in the country.
