If the music lovers in your office are suddenly absent from their desks, they just might be on a flight to St. Kitts, where the annual St. Kitts Music Festival kicks off in Basseterre Thursday.

Now in its 19th year, the three-night festival features diverse musical genres, including R&B, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, soca, calypso, and gospel. Headliners this year include R&B/pop singers Ciara, Jason Derulo and Trey Songz; soca stars Kerwin Du Bois, Patrice Roberts and Benjai; dancehall deejay Bounty Killer; jazz saxophonist Arturo Tappin; and British reggae band Aswad.

The festival venue is the Warner Park Stadium, and tickets start at $40 per night or $105 for a pass to all three.

(And don’t expect to see your colleagues back in the office until sometime next week.)
