Southwest Begins Flights to Pair of Mexican Destinations

Southwest Airlines has launched service to Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

The carrier this week began weekly Saturday service between Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Los Cabos International Airport.

Last week, Southwest launched service to its 95th city, Puerto Vallarta, with daily nonstop flights from Orange County/Santa Ana airport.

Southwest Airlines will be operating a summer Saturday schedule of 104 scheduled flights to the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America as part of a wider regional expansion.

The company’s international flights began in July 2014.
