The Reef Resort in Grand Cayman has joined the Wyndham brand.

The property has been rebranded as the Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman. It had previously been a Wyndham Affiliate.

“Becoming a full Wyndham property means we have a reach into a market we never had before,” said Kel Thompson, director of Wyndham Reef Resort. “The recognition of the brand cannot be over-estimated.”

According to Thompson, the resort had undergone “structural and organizational” renovations to ensure compliance with Wyndham standards.

“It was a team effort,” he said. “I am incredibly proud of our staff for their hard work and dedication, which resulted in the best possible outcome for our owners and guests – being awarded the prestigious Wyndham name.”

The 192-room resort is located on Cayman’s East End.

“We are the global leader in travel accommodations welcoming our guests to iconic brands and vacation destinations through our signature Count On Me! Service,” said Geoff Ballotti, President and Chief Executive Officer, Wyndham Hotel Group. “At Wyndham we believe that fostering a service-oriented culture is paramount to providing our visitors the best possible vacation experience. We know staff at the Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman are more than able to meet our high expectations.”
