AMResorts’ expansion push in the Caribbean is continuing.
The company announced that it would be introducing its Breathless Resorts and Spas brand to the Riviera Maya on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.
The Breathless Riviera Cancun is slated to open in early 2016, according to a company release.
It would be the second Breathless property following the Breathless Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
“We hear loud and clear that our guests want more resort options from AMResorts,” said Gonzalo del Peon, President of AMResorts.
Peon said the new resort in Cancun, along with a recently-launched property in Cap Cana, would “provide the exciting new offerings our customers seek.”
