Sunwing Adding New Caribbean Flights

Canadian air carrier Sunwing is launching nonstop service to St Lucia, the company announced, part of a wider Caribbean expansion.

Beginning Oct. 25, Sunwing will launch service on Saturdays from Toronto to St Lucia, with additional Tuesday winter service beginning Dec. 16 through April 28.

The carrier will also begin Montreal service on Sundays from Nov. 9 to March 8, 2015, Sunwing said.

Sunwing has been an expansion push in the Caribbean region of late.

Last month, the company announced it would serve Playa Blanca in Panama from Montreal, beginning in November and from Quebec City in December.

The carrier will also re-introduce flights from Montreal to Cayo Largo, Cuba beginning in the winter season.
