Inter-American Development Bank Names New Chief Financial Officer

The Inter-American Development Bank has named Gustvao De Rosa its new finance manager and chief financial officer.
De Rosa’s appointment takes effect Nov, 1, 2014.
A native of Argentina, he had had been serving as the Chief Risk Officer of the IDB since September 2011, and was previously managing director and chief risk and operating officer at ING Belgium in Madrid.
De Rosa will be responsible for the “the mobilization and administration of the IDB’s financial resources, both assets and liabilities,” and will manage the bank’s liquidity, accounting and financial records, among other responsibilities, the bank said.
The IDB includes the Inter-American Investment Corporation and the Multilateral Investment Fund, which focus on small and medium-sized companies and businesses.
