The El San Juan Resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico has named a new executive culinary team.

The property, a Hilton hotel, has appointed Ana Parga as its executive chef, and Frances Archilla as its director of food and beverage.

Archilla was most recently the resort and spa manager of the Caribe Hilton; Parga has been a chef at the Caribe Hilton for 14 years.

The El San Juan includes the newly-opened Meat Market steakhouse, along with Koco, Yamato, La Piccola Fontana, La Terraza, Brother Jimmy’s BBQ and casual eateries Galleria Trattoria, Aquaire and Encanto Grill, along with a Starbucks Coffee.

“We’re excited to welcome both Frances and Chef Ana to El San Juan Resort & Casino and share their culinary creations with our guests,” said Olivier Maumaire, general manager, in a release. “Their extensive experience and great talents will further raise the bar on the culinary experience at our resort.”
