Costa Rica has debuted a new series of video campaigns to promote its tourism sector, all under the theme of “happiness.”
The four videos highlight “adventure,” “relaxation,” “culture” and “nature,” with each video examining a different facet of the country’s tourism product.
Costa Rica debuted its new tourism brand, “Essential Costa Rica,” in 2013. The campaign seeks to promote the multifaceted nature of Costa Rican tourism, beyond its traditional stronghold of eco-tourism, an area in which it has been a pioneer in the region.
The Central American country has a Caribbean coastline of about 125 miles that extends from Nicaragua to the north to Panama to the south.
