Alsol Hotels & Resorts has named Ignacio Perez area manager for the company’s Cap Cana properties in the Dominican Republic.

Perez will oversee Sanctuary Cap Cana, Alsol Luxury Village and Alsol Del Mar, along with new properties set to debut this year in both Cap Cana and Mexico.

“We’re elated to engage Ignacio’s wealth of hospitality knowledge to propel our team to an elevated level of success,” said Carlos Del Pino, managing director of Alsol Hotels & Resorts. “His extensive experience in the hospitality industry will not only benefit the growth of Alsol Hotels & Resorts, but Ignacio’s role within the company.”

Perez is a 30-year veteran of the industry, having served as general manager at the Be Live Hotels in Cabeza de Toro in the Dominican Republic and having led the opening of the Casa del Mar Beach Resort.

He has also served as regional corporate director of Sandals’ Resorts Eastern Caribbean properties.

The company currently has a portfolio of 850 rooms.
