The Caribbean’s newest Sandals resort is set to open in two weeks.

The Sandals La Source Grenada is slated to open on Dec. 12. It will come just about a month after Sandals Resorts International opened its new resort in nearby Barbados.

The property will include 225 rooms and suites across three “villages”: Pink Gin, South Seas and Italian Village. It will feature nine restaurants, including a steakhouse, along with three pools, two river pools and a Red Lane Spa.

Former Sandals Royal Plantation General Manager Peter Fraser is the general manager of the Grenada resort.

It’s located on the site of the former La Source Resort, which company purchased at the end of 2012. At the time, Sandals Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart said the company had been looking to expand to Grenada for “more than a decade.”

The resort, which underwent significant renovations and an expansion of more than 100 rooms, is located on Grenada’s Pink Gin Beach.
