United States Education Secretary Arne Duncan to Visit Haiti

United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will visit Haiti next week.

Duncan’s visit will begin on Monday, with meetings planned with government officials, educational system representatives and members of civil society, according to the US Embassy in Port-au-Prince.

He will also be visiting the National School of Tabarre and the Lycee de Petion-Ville, among other stops.

Arne has served as the country’s Education Secretary since 2009.

The trip concludes Nov. 6.
