The French island of Martinique will be putting its tourism industry on full display next week as the first-time host of the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the Industry Conference.
This year’s conference is being held under the theme of “Perfecting the Experience, Delivering Authenticity.”
It’s a major exhibition for Martinique, which has been pushing to expand its tourism presence both regionally and globally in the last few years.
The conference will be held from Oct. 16 to Oct. 18, following CTO business meetings from Oct. 15 to Oct. 16.
Featured speakers next week include US Virgin Islands Governor John de Jongh, trends marketing consultant Daniel Levine, former LIAT CEO Brian Challenger and John Daly, Jr, regional director in the US Transportation Security Administration’s Office of Global Strategies, among others.
