The Bahamas is doing some fascinating things in the art world. It seems that there’s always a new gallery opening up — you can even find art exhibited in government buildings (through initiatives like the Public Treasury Art Programme). Indeed, the capital of the Bahamas is one of the Caribbean’s Best Cities For Art and has developed into a full-fledged art destination. Despite its small size, Nassau boasts a collection of high-level galleries featuring local, traditional and avant-garde works. Here are six great galleries in Nassau.
