The Dominica Festivals Committee has revealed the lineup for this year’s edition of the World Creole Music Festival.

Artists headlining the show include Haiti’s Nu Look and musicians like Busy Signal, the Zouk All Stars, Patrice Human and soca star Machel Montano.
The lineup will also feature musicians like Asha Thomas, Colton T, Mel C, Elisha Benoit, Triple Kay Global and Nayee, among others.

This year’s festival aims to host around 5,000 patrons per night, according to Leroy “Wadix” Charles, marketing executive for the festival, which contributes significantly to the local economy in Dominica.

“This festival belongs to Dominica, to every dollar that is spent, nine dollars is circulating in our economy,” he said. “That is what the festival does for Dominica. We are celebrating a reunion year and there is an appeal to every Dominican, come home and bring a friend.”

The festival runs from Oct. 25 to Oct. 27.
