Haiti’s government has released a short list of four developers for a potential development on the island of Ile a Vache.

The list, released through the Ministry of Tourism, includes four firms that will undergo a review of pre-qualification.

Next, Haiti’s Ministerial Committee on Government Procurement will carry out an analysis of the proposals to select the firms that will eventually sign an agreement to carry out the government’s tourism development plan.

The companies include Blue Marlin Development, SA, Charles Fequiere, SA, Royal Oasis and Holmes Haiti International Development Limited, LLC.

Haiti released its tourism development plan for Ile a Vache earlier this year, which includes a mix of resort, residential and eco-tourism units.

The four companies made it to this stage out of a group of five that had initially expressed interest, the Ministry said.
