Usain Bolt and Kirani James reminded the crowd in Paris this weekend why they’re the best in the world at their craft.

Bolt set a meet record at the Paris Diamond League this weekend with a 19.73 in the men’s 200M, finishing ahead of countryman Warren Weir, who finished in 1992.

Bolt’s time was the fastest this year in the 200M, one one-hundredth of a second ahead of Tyson Gay’s 19.74.

Grenada’s James followed up a second-place finish in Oregon with a world-leading 43.96, finishing ahead of Lashawn Merritt despite the latter’s season-bset 44.09 time.

James’ last race was a victory at the Golden Spike Meet in the Czech Republic at the end of June.

On the women’s side, Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won the 100M, finishing in a season-best 10.92 seconds.
