The Dominican Republic’s tourism industry is readying for its major tourism conference next week in Punta Cana.

The Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange, or DATE, which begins April 23, puts together international wholesalers, tour operators, incentive groups and charter operators to do business with the country’s major tourism suppliers.

The conference is being hosted this year at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort in the Punta Cana region.

Organizers said buyers can register up to the first day of the conference on April 23.
