Four Seasons Nevis, Antigua’s Jumby Bay Among AAA Five Diamond Winners

Seven Caribbean hotels and resorts have been named to the AAA Five Diamond Award list, the organization announced Friday.

The list includes the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, the Dominican Republic’s Tortuga Bay Punta Cana Resort & Club, the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, Barbados’ Sandy Lane, Antigua and Barbuda’s Jumby Bay, the Jade Mountain Resort in St Lucia and the St Regis Bahia Beach Puerto Rico.

The Four Seasons was recently named to Caribbean Journal’s Cool List as one of the 10 coolest resorts in the region for 2013.

A total of 125 hotels in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean received the rating, representing 0.3 percent of 59,000 AAA-approved and Diamond-Rated establishments.

The rating system is based on on-site evaluations.
