Atlantis Appoints General Manager for The Cove and The Reef Resorts

Kerzner International Bahamas has appointed Cristian Sariego as senior vice president and general manager of The Cove Atlantis and The Reef Atlantis resorts in the Bahamas.

Sariego was formerly the general manager at the Ritz-Carlton in Santiago, Chile. He was previously the GM of the Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman. He has also held senior posts at Marriott Hotels and InterContinental Hotels & Resort Group.

“We are very fortunate to have Cristian join our team,” said George Markantonis, president and managing director of Kerzner International Bahamas.  “Cristian’s strong luxury expertise will enhance the Cove and Reef experience, while helping us grow the brands and uphold Atlantis’ standards as one of the world’s leading resort destinations.”

Sariego will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Atlantis, focusing on The Cove and The Reef, according to a release.
