United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron has announced a new ministerial team at the Foreign Office.

Mark Simmonds, the Member of Parliament for Boston and Skegness, will assume the role of Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for the portfolio that includes the Overseas Territories and the Caribbean.

Simmonds replaces Henry Bellingham, the MP for North West Norfolk, who had served in the post since May 2010. He has served in Parliament since 2001.

His portfolio will also feature issues including climate change, international energy, and Africa.

The Prime Minister’s reshuffle this week saw 29 ministers exit, with 50 new appointments.
