St Lucia has named Kim C St Rose as its newest attorney general, the government announced.
St Rose had previously served as a litigator for the firm of Gordon & Gordon in Castries. Before that, she worked as a sole practitioner, and served two stints as a Magistrate Judge in St Lucia.
St Rose succeeds Sen. Lorenzo Rudolph Francis.
She also practiced for the Jamaican law firm of Crafton S Miller & Associates. Her legal resume also includes four years serving as a State Counsel in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Guyana.
St Rose is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Hugh Wooding Law School, and is admitted to practice in Guyana, St Lucia and Jamaica.
