The Bank of Jamaica’s holdings exceeded $2 billion at the end of October, according to its reports at the end of the month.
Jamaica’s Net International Reserves stand at $2.032 billion, although that is a reduction of about $48.4 million from the end of September.
According to analysts, reserves should be sufficient to pay for 12 weeks of imports of goods and services; the current number represents about 20 weeks.
