CARICOM, Chile Talk in Georgetown

Patricio Pradel, representative of Chile to CARICOM, paid a courtesy visit to CARICOM Secretary General Irwin LaRocque today at CARICOM headquarters in Georgetown, Guyana today.

CARICOM and Chile established a joint commission in 1996, but the body has not met in some time. In a speech last year, Edwin Carrington expressed hope that the body would meet in the future.

Pradel presented his credentials to CARICOM in June 2010.
