Barbados Looks to Draw Chinese Tourists

Barbados is seeking to tap the growing tourist market in China. Barbadian Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and two of his ministers met yesterday with a visiting Chinese resident, Dionne Holder, a Barbadian who resides in Beijing. Holder is part of a 16-member contingent from China visiting Barbados’ Crop Over Festival. The group discussed developing a collaborative relationship with the National Cultural Foundation that could help bring larger groups from China fro future festivals.
