Guyana Expects November Elections

Guyana is preparing to hold elections, both for president and Parliament, by November. All 65 seats in the country’s parliament will be in play in the election, the first in Guyana since 2006, when President Bharrat Jagdeo’s People’s Progressive Party won 55 percent of the vote.
