By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 17, 2016

It’s a chance for a new kind of culinary exploration in the Caribbean.

Silversea’s newest itinerary is a partnership with Relais & Chateaux, offering the opportunity for a serious gourmet voyage.

The company is launching a Relais & Chateaux Gourmet Cruise around the Caribbean, set to launch on the Silver Whisper ship in October.

The Oct. 24 voyage, which sails from New York to Barbados, will include a program of cooking demonstrations and grand gourmet dinners.

Silversea’s ship will include Chefs like Jason Joseph, head chef of the Camelot Restaurant at Cobblers Cove hotel in Barbados; Jacob Jasinski, chef de cuisine of the Seasons Restaurant at the Ocean House hotel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and Louis Pacquelin, head chef of the Panache restaurant at Quebec’s Auberge Saint-Antoine hotel.

The 12-day itinerary from New York includes stops in Hamilton, Bermuda, Gustavia, St Barth, St John’s Antigua, Rosea, Dominica, Castries, St Lucia, St George’s Grenada and Bridgetown, Barbados.
