By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 14, 2016

It’s outside of the hurricane belt, meaning that the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire is just as great in the summertime.

A number of hotels in Bonaire are now offering serious savings for summer stays, from classic dive hotels to upscale resorts.

The island’s Buddy Dive Resort is offering weekly rates at $952.73 per person, including a six-boat dive package with three extra one-tank afternoon boat dives, along with a 50 percent food credit.

The Bonaire Oceanfront Apartments is offering a handful of “wellness vacation” packages from May to June; they include seven-night stays with yoga, meditation, a demo dive and a 60 minute massage, starting at $499 per person.
