4.9-Magnitude Earthquake Lightly Shakes Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake near Barbuda caused light shaking in Antigua, St Kitts and Guadeloupe Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake, which occurred at around 5:14 AM local time, struck about 25 kilometres east-northeast of Codrington, Barbuda, at a depth of 26 kilometres.
That is about 73 kilometres north-northeast of St John’s Antigua and about 156 kilometres north of Guadeloupe.
No damages or injuries were reported.
