Ocean Signature Resorts Is Making Big Changes to Its All-Inclusive Resorts, With New Rooms in Punta Cana, a New Cancún Resort Name, and an Adults-Only Jamaica Debut

A private pool outside your suite in the Riviera Maya. A swim-up room in Punta Cana. A familiar resort in Jamaica entering a new adults-only chapter. Another longtime Mexican Caribbean property getting a new name, redesigned rooms, and a reimagined premium section.

Those are some of the changes coming across Ocean Signature Resorts as the company prepares its Caribbean and Mexican resort portfolio for the 2026 winter season, with projects spanning Jamaica, Punta Cana, Puerto Morelos, and the Riviera Maya.

The plans include new room categories, private pools, redesigned restaurants, renovated guestrooms, an expanded fitness center, a major resort rebranding in Mexico, and the addition of a Jamaican property to the company’s growing Ocean Allure adults-only luxury collection.

The biggest changes arrive later this year, including the Nov. 1 transformation of Ocean Eden Bay into Ocean Allure Eden Bay in Jamaica and the Nov. 19 renaming of Ocean Coral & Turquesa as Ocean Coral Riviera Cancún.

A New Adults-Only Resort Is Coming to Jamaica

Ocean Eden Bay has operated as an adults-only resort on Jamaica’s north coast in Coral Spring, Trelawny, a stretch of the island between Montego Bay and Falmouth.

Beginning Nov. 1, the beachfront property will enter the Ocean Allure collection under a new name: Ocean Allure Eden Bay.

The change gives Ocean Allure a second major Caribbean resort following Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres in Mexico and expands the company’s higher-end adults-only portfolio into Jamaica.

Ocean Signature Resorts is positioning Ocean Allure around couples and adults seeking privacy, service, and more upscale resort experiences. At the Jamaica property, the transition will bring the hotel under the same collection as its Costa Mujeres counterpart as the brand begins a wider Caribbean expansion.

The Trelawny location gives the resort a useful position for a Jamaica vacation. You’re near Falmouth, with Montego Bay’s airport and resort corridor farther west, while attractions along Jamaica’s northern side can be reached on day trips from the property.

The hotel’s beachfront location remains central to the experience, but the new Ocean Allure identity introduces a different level of service and a more focused adults-only product as the company develops the collection.

A Familiar Puerto Morelos Resort Is Getting a New Name

Another major change is coming to Puerto Morelos, where Ocean Coral & Turquesa is preparing for a new identity.

On Nov. 19, the resort will become Ocean Coral Riviera Cancún, accompanied by renovations across several of the areas guests use most during a stay.

The project includes changes to the arrival areas and lobby, updates to the resort’s food offerings, and modernized guestrooms.

The resort’s Privilege section will also receive an extensive redesign, with changes to accommodations, service, and guest amenities aimed at strengthening the premium tier within the property.

Puerto Morelos occupies a distinctive part of the Mexican Caribbean, south of Cancún and north of Playa del Carmen. The town has retained a smaller profile than its larger neighbors, with a central plaza, beachfront restaurants and the nearby Great Maya Reef among its draws.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancún will continue operating in the same beachfront location, with the new name arriving alongside the physical changes rather than as a simple branding exercise.

The Nov. 19 debut also places the revamped property squarely into the winter travel period, giving returning guests a substantially updated version of the resort.

Private-Pool Suites Are Coming to Ocean Maya Royale

The changes extend farther south along the Riviera Maya at Ocean Maya Royale, the company’s adults-only property near Playa del Carmen.

The resort is getting a climate-controlled lobby along with updates to two important food venues: its Mexican specialty restaurant, El Charro, and its international buffet.

Guestrooms are changing, too.

Ocean Maya Royale is adding 12 suites with private pools, giving you another option if you want a room with your own outdoor swimming area rather than relying solely on the resort’s shared pools.

A larger portion of the room inventory is also being renovated for a new Elegance category, adding another tier within the resort.

The changes arrive in a Riviera Maya market where private pools and swim-up accommodations have become increasingly prominent across all-inclusive resorts, particularly among couples planning longer vacations and celebratory trips.

Ocean Riviera Paradise Is Expanding Its Fitness Offering

Nearby Ocean Riviera Paradise is concentrating some of its upgrades on fitness and accommodations.

The resort is expanding its fitness center with new equipment and a larger workout area. Its Master Suite category is also receiving private pools.

Ocean Riviera Paradise is one of the company’s larger Mexican Caribbean resorts, and the addition gives guests choosing its higher room categories another private-pool option.

Private pools are becoming a recurring theme across the company’s 2026 projects, appearing at both Ocean Maya Royale and Ocean Riviera Paradise as Ocean Signature Resorts puts more emphasis on upgraded accommodations within its all-inclusive properties.

Swim-Up Rooms Are Coming to Punta Cana

In the Dominican Republic, Ocean Blue & Sand is adding a new collection of swim-up rooms.

The Punta Cana resort plans to introduce rooms with direct pool entry as part of its current round of improvements.

If you’ve stayed at Caribbean all-inclusives in recent years, you’ve probably seen the category become one of the most sought-after resort room types, particularly at properties where guests spend much of the trip between the pool, beach, and their room.

Ocean Signature Resorts says the new rooms are an early part of a larger plan for the Punta Cana property heading into 2027, although the company has not yet detailed the full scope of the next phase.

The current project gives the Dominican Republic resort a more competitive accommodation category while laying the groundwork for additional changes next year.

Why Ocean Allure Is Becoming a Bigger Part of the Portfolio

The most significant branding development may be the growth of Ocean Allure.

Ocean Signature Resorts is separating its resort collection more clearly by travel style, with Ocean Allure taking on the company’s luxury adults-only properties.

The addition of Ocean Allure Eden Bay gives the brand a presence in Jamaica alongside Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, creating a two-destination collection across Mexico and the Caribbean.

The approach also gives the company a dedicated identity for travelers looking specifically for adults-only resorts with higher-end rooms and more personalized service.

Jamaica is an important addition. Adults-only all-inclusive resorts already have a substantial presence on the island, particularly around Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios, and the north coast, and Ocean Allure Eden Bay will enter one of the Caribbean’s most competitive resort markets.

In Jamaica, the headline is a new adults-only luxury identity at Ocean Allure Eden Bay beginning Nov. 1.

And in Punta Cana, Ocean Blue & Sand is introducing swim-up accommodations ahead of additional work planned for 2027.

Taken together, the projects give returning guests several genuinely new choices across the portfolio this winter: private-pool suites in the Riviera Maya, swim-up rooms in Punta Cana, a redesigned Puerto Morelos resort, and a new Ocean Allure experience on Jamaica’s north coast.
