Beaches Turks and Caicos Just Opened Its New $150 Million Village With Fireworks, Celebrities, and a Massive Beach Bash

The conch shell sounded just after sunset. Then came the Junkanoo procession, dancers moving across the new village pathways as fireworks burst over Grace Bay Beach and more than 170 performers turned the newest corner of Beaches Turks and Caicos into a full-scale Caribbean street festival.

That was the scene this weekend as Beaches Resorts officially introduced Treasure Beach Village, the new $150 million expansion at the resort on Providenciales. The all-suite addition adds 101 new accommodations, new dining concepts, a 15,000-square-foot pool, and some of the biggest multi-bedroom family accommodations anywhere in the Caribbean.

The debut weekend brought together celebrities, tourism officials, travel advisors, media, and returning Beaches guests for a multi-day celebration that stretched across the resort’s villages, restaurants, beaches, and pool decks.

“This weekend marks the first expression of Beaches Resorts’ US $1 billion investment in the future of the brand,” said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Beaches Resorts, told Caribbean Journal. “Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos represents the next chapter for Beaches, and is part of a broader expansion that includes future resorts in Exuma, Barbados, Jamaica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It reflects our continued commitment to elevating the Beaches product, investing in the Caribbean, and creating even more opportunities for families to spend meaningful time together in this region.”

The centerpiece was the Treasure Beach Village Bash, a production-style launch event staged inside the new village itself.

A New Village on Grace Bay

Treasure Beach Village is now the sixth village at Beaches Turks and Caicos, joining the resort’s Caribbean, Italian, French, Key West, and Seaside villages along the white sand shoreline of Grace Bay.

The new section leans heavily into larger accommodations and gathering-focused design, with multi-bedroom suites built for families and groups traveling together. Several of the accommodations include expansive living rooms, oversized balconies, kids’ rooms, and direct pool access.

The village centers around a sprawling pool complex lined with cabanas, lounge areas, and restaurants, with pathways leading directly toward the beach.

At night, the new village became the stage for the resort’s launch celebration.

Guests entered along what Beaches called the “Shellebrity” pink carpet, a reference to the blush tones of Turks and Caicos conch shells. Among those attending were Boris KodjoeNicole Ari ParkerTaye DiggsAmanda KlootsDave and Odette AnnableMelissa RoxburghChad Michael MurrayJamie ChungRoss Matthews, and Jesse Eisenberg.

Government officials also attended the launch, including Turks and Caicos Premier Charles Washington MisickGovernor Dileeni Daniel Selvaratnam, and Jamaica Prime Minister Andrew Holness.

Fire Performers, Junkanoo, and Fireworks Over the Water

The evening opened with a conch blower and a spoken-word performance by students from the Provo Inter High School Choir, immediately tying the event to local traditions and culture.

From there, the celebration expanded across the village.

A 50-person Junkanoo procession wound through the property alongside dancers from Rhythmic Dance Haven, fire performers, acrobats, and a tightrope performance by internationally known troupe Jonglissimo.

Across the village pool, illuminated fishing boat installations floated on the water in tribute to the islands’ conch fishing heritage. Fireworks later exploded above the resort and out over the sea, visible from nearly every part of the new village.

At one point, Beaches team members joined guests in singing “We Are Family,” turning the launch into something closer to a large Caribbean beach festival than a traditional resort opening.

The night closed with a live performance by American Authors, who opened with “Best Day of My Life” before stepping into the crowd during the set.

A Weekend That Took Over the Resort

The celebration extended well beyond the Friday-night bash.

The weekend opened with a Regatta Golden Hour gathering on the beach, inspired by the sailing culture long tied to Turks and Caicos. Guests drank cocktails served in coconuts while yacht rock played from DJ Mr. Wired Up as catamarans drifted offshore.

Inside the resort’s French Village, Beaches transformed the pathways into a Caribbean-style block party with live music, parades, fish fry stations, grilled seafood, fresh conch dishes, and local specialties spread throughout the village.

The event also gave guests an early look at several new dining concepts debuting with Treasure Beach Village, including the new Pinta Food Hall and Butch’s Island Chop House.

Pinta adds a more casual, modern food hall concept to the resort with multiple stations and grab-and-go options, while Butch’s continues the steakhouse brand that has become one of the signature dining concepts across Sandals and Beaches resorts.

Throughout the weekend, guests rotated through curated dine-around experiences spanning the property’s restaurants and bars.

Pickleball, Mahjong, and Catamaran Cruises

The weekend also reflected how Beaches is broadening its programming beyond traditional beach resort activities.

Guests joined pickleball clinics led by APP professional Megan Fudge, participated in mahjong sessions hosted by Mahj on the Beach founder Kari Long, and boarded Island Routes catamaran cruises along the turquoise waters off Providenciales.

The resort also incorporated community-focused programming through the Sandals Foundation Reading Road Trip, which connected guests with local students through literacy activities and school visits.

What Treasure Beach Village Means for Beaches

The expansion is one of the largest recent investments by Beaches Resorts and represents a major next step for the family-focused all-inclusive brand.

The company is preparing for broader regional growth, with future Beaches projects planned in The BahamasBarbadosJamaica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

In all? A pipeline of about $1 billion in new resort investment, as Caribbean Journal previously reported.

At Beaches Turks and Caicos, Treasure Beach Village has significantly expanded the upper-end accommodation inventory while adding more shared gathering areas, restaurants, entertainment venues, and pool space to one of the Caribbean’s most in-demand family resorts.

And on opening weekend, Beaches made sure the debut was a full-fledged Caribbean festival planted directly on the sand at Grace Bay.

Prices at Treasure Beach

Treasure Beach all-inclusive rates for a Concierge Suite start at about $3,277.40 per night, based on what I found on Beaches’ website. That includes max occupancy of six guests, along with one king bed, a bunk bed with a trundle, and one sleeper sofa. There’s nothing quite like it in the Caribbean.
