For the first time, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic is stepping into the global fashion conversation with the debut of Casa de Campo Fashion Week, a four-day event set for June 4 to June 8, 2026.

The concept is straightforward: bring an international runway calendar to the Caribbean and stage it inside one of the region’s most established luxury resorts.

A First for the Dominican Republic

This is the first time Casa de Campo has hosted a fashion week of this kind, with a full program of runway shows, designer presentations, and industry-led sessions across the property.

The event brings together a mix of Latin American, European, and U.S. designers, along with established Dominican names, placing the country into a broader global fashion rotation rather than positioning it as an off-calendar destination.

Each designer will present a focused collection, creating a structured runway format that aligns with traditional fashion week expectations, adapted to a resort setting.

The Designers Taking Part

The lineup includes Dominican designers Giannina Azar and the house of Jenny Polanco, alongside names like Maylé Vásquez, Gaby Alvarez, José Cristian Lagares, Rafael Rivero, and Anna Redman Pablo.

International designers include Luis Antonio, Fausto Altamirano of Baccio Couture, and Berny Martin, with Spanish couture house The 2nd Skin Co. and Custo Barcelona appearing as part of the program, including the closing presentations.

Dayanara Torres will serve as the event’s brand ambassador, adding a global-facing presence to the week.

Runways Across the Resort

The format follows a familiar fashion week rhythm, with runway shows staged in the evenings, but the setting changes how the experience plays out.

Events are spread across Casa de Campo’s key venues, including the Marina Riverside Center, Altos de Chavón, and private event spaces, rotating between waterfront and interior settings throughout the week.

The property covers 7,000 acres, with multiple distinct environments, from the marina to the beach club to Altos de Chavón, the recreated Mediterranean-style village that functions as a cultural center within the resort.
