El Yunque is a gem in Puerto Rico.

You book your flight, pick your seat, maybe add a bag—and then you still have to figure out what you’re actually going to do when you land. Frontier Airlines is trying to bring that part of the trip into the same place.

Frontier Adds Activities to Its Booking Platform

Frontier Airlines, which has been rapidly expanding across the Caribbea, has launched a new partnership with Viator, the global experiences platform owned by Tripadvisor, meaning access to more than 425,000 tours and activities when you book through FlyFrontier.com.

The idea is simple: you can now plan what happens on the ground at the same time you book your flight.

That includes everything from sunset cruises and zipline tours to wine tastings, guided excursions, and sightseeing trips across destinations worldwide.

You’ll find the option directly on Frontier’s homepage under a “Book an Activity” section, making it part of the standard booking flow instead of a separate step.

You Can Earn More Miles While You Travel

There’s also a loyalty angle. If you’re part of the Frontier Miles program, you’ll earn 4x miles for every dollar you spend on activities booked through the site.

That’s on top of the miles you’re already earning on flights, which means your trip can generate rewards beyond just the airfare.

To get the miles, you need to be enrolled in Frontier Miles and enter your account number when you book. The miles are added after you complete the activity, not at the time of purchase.

Why This Actually Helps When You’re Planning a Trip

Most travelers end up booking experiences separately—through different apps, local operators, or last-minute decisions once they arrive.

This brings those options into one place, which can save time when you’re putting together a trip.

If you’re heading to a destination where you don’t already have a plan, it gives you a quick way to lock in key activities before you go, whether that’s a boat tour, a guided city experience, or something more specific to the destination.

It also gives you a clearer picture of your total trip cost upfront, instead of adding excursions later.

What Frontier Miles Looks Like Right Now

Frontier is leaning heavily into its loyalty program as part of the value pitch.

The Frontier Miles program is designed to reward spending across multiple parts of your trip, including flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and now activities.

Elite status starts at 10,000 points, which is lower than many competing programs, and includes benefits like priority boarding, seat selection, and, at higher levels, free bags.

There’s also a family pooling feature for elite members, which lets households combine miles into a single account.

Adding experiences into the mix gives you another way to build those miles faster, especially on longer trips where activities can add up.

What It Means for Your Next Trip

If you already use Frontier, this change makes the airline’s website more of a one-stop planning tool.

You can book your flight and start filling in your itinerary at the same time, while earning extra miles in the process.

If you don’t use Frontier often, the added value comes down to convenience and rewards. You’re not just booking transportation—you’re building out the trip in one place.

The Bottom Line

Frontier’s new partnership with Viator adds a major layer to how you plan a trip, with hundreds of thousands of activities now available directly through its site.

You can book tours, excursions, and experiences at the same time as your flight—and earn 4x miles while doing it.

For travelers looking to simplify planning and get more out of their spending, it’s a practical upgrade that turns one booking into a more complete trip.
