The resort is back.

The Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort on Palm Beach has completed a multi-year, property-wide renovation.

The renovation began in September 2023 and was carried out in phases, covering all guest accommodations and select public areas across the resort. Work included the original 14-story Tower and adjacent villas, as well as the four Beach Towers constructed in 2009.

While the company said the resort is open, there are no rooms available to book until March 11, according to the Divi booking platform.

Guest Room Updates

Phase 1 focused on the original Tower and villas, where guest rooms underwent full interior renovations. Bathrooms were completely rebuilt with new fixtures and finishes. Kitchens were replaced with new cabinetry, backsplashes, and appliances, including the addition of dishwashers. New flooring was installed throughout rooms and balconies, along with updated lighting, baseboards, and new furniture packages. Rooms now feature 65-inch smart televisions, updated artwork, and refreshed HVAC systems.

Phase 2 addressed the Beach Towers, which received interior updates rather than full rebuilds. Improvements included fresh paint, updated kitchen cabinetry, upgraded appliances, new mattresses, revised lighting, new balcony furniture, and updated artwork.

Across the resort, balconies were updated with new flooring and glass railings.

Dining and Public Spaces

Several food and beverage areas were refreshed during the renovation period. The Wave Shack bar and grill opened in 2024 along the pool and beach area, offering casual dining options. Seating and furnishings were updated at purebeach and pureocean Restaurant, with additional interior changes made at pureocean to support evening service.

Exterior Work

The resort exterior was repainted using a new light gray color palette. No changes were made to the overall layout, building footprints, or beachfront access points.

Status

With the completion of final room updates, all accommodations and public areas are now fully open, and no construction remains on site.

Prices

Stays begin at $785 per night. That gets you a studio suite with a queen bed.
