The Westin Puerto Vallarta Is Reopening as an All-Inclusive — And Now It Has an Opening Date

The Westin is relaunching as an all-inclusive.

A new all-inclusive resort is set to debut in Puerto Vallarta next spring, marking a significant repositioning for one of the destination’s established beachfront properties.

Westin Playa Vallarta will officially reopen as an all-inclusive resort on May 1, 2026, introducing a redesigned hospitality concept focused on wellness, dining variety, and upgraded accommodations, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The resort will feature 281 newly redesigned suites, including select swim-up units and suites with private plunge pools. All accommodations will include the brand’s signature Heavenly Bed, with the redesign aimed at creating a more residential, relaxation-driven guest experience.

As part of the transformation, the property’s spa has been reimagined as the Westin Heavenly Spa, anchoring a broader wellness offering that will include curated activities, interactive entertainment, and beachfront programming. Guests will also have access to the new Flora Mixology Bar, highlighting botanical-inspired cocktails.

Dining will be a central component of the new all-inclusive experience. The resort’s Gourmet Gallery will encompass six distinct indoor dining concepts along with four outdoor venues, offering a range of international and regional cuisine options.

The property is located directly on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, just minutes from the city’s downtown core and international airport. An 18-hole golf course is also located nearby, adding to the resort’s appeal for active travelers.

Prices start at around $384 per night, based on what we found on the property’s website.
