Royal Caribbean marked the opening of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island with a ceremony that brought together cruise executives, Bahamian government leaders, and local community members on one of Paradise Island’s most iconic stretches of sand.

The event underscored the scale of the project and the partnership behind it, with officials from The Bahamas joining Royal Caribbean leadership to celebrate what the company calls a first-of-its-kind beach club experience in the destination — and part of a bigger plan for regional destinations.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is Royal Caribbean’s newest exclusive beach destination, designed as an all-inclusive day experience that blends Bahamian culture, cuisine, and hospitality with the cruise line’s signature approach to design and service. More than 150 invited guests attended the ribbon cutting, including Prime Minister Philip E. Davis, Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper, and Royal Caribbean Group Chairman and CEO Jason Liberty, alongside Royal Caribbean President and CEO Michael Bayley.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is the first in Royal Caribbean’s new Royal Beach Club Collection, a growing portfolio of land-based destinations designed to complement its private islands and onboard experiences. The cruise line has already confirmed a second beach club, Royal Beach Club Cozumel, scheduled to open in Mexico in 2026. That project will bring the same all-inclusive beach-day model to Cozumel, with expansive beaches, multiple pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, and food and drink inspired by local Mexican flavors.

Beyond the beach club concept, Royal Caribbean is also expanding its destination footprint in Mexico with Perfect Day Mexico, a large-scale private destination planned for the Caribbean coast later this decade.
